Things to note before sending money to WeChat Pay:
Recipient must be a Chinese citizen.
Fill in the recipient's phone number (Weixin ID) registered at WeChat Pay correctly.
Make sure the recipient's name matches the name in their WeChat Pay account.
Make sure that the relationship between the sender and the recipient is family (husband/wife, children, parent, sibling/brother/sister, relative, myself).
Make sure the recipient's WeChat Pay account is verified within 48 hours after the transaction is created.
Make sure the recipient’s WeChat Pay account is linked to their bank card within 24 hours after the account verification process or after the transaction is created.
In every WeChat Pay transaction, recipient must confirm the transaction within 48 hours after the transaction is created via their WeChat app.

Make sure the relationship that your recipient entered matches with the one you provided to Topremit.
In some cases, the recipient might be asked to upload supporting documents within 48 hours after it is requested, to be reviewed by the WeChat Pay team.
The recipient may ignore and cancel the transaction. By doing this, the transaction will fail and the fee cannot be refunded.
Notes:
You can only send to 4 different recipients/year and the limit for sending money to WeChat Pay depends on your recipient’s residence.
If the recipient lives in China (Mainland):
The max. transaction amount is CNY 50,000/transaction.
Recipient can receive up to:
10 times/month
CNY 350,000/day
CNY 500,000/year
Please note that these limits are cumulative.
For example, if sender A has sent CNY 100,000 and sender B has sent CNY 150,000 to your recipient today, you can only send additional CNY 100,000 as your recipient has a daily limit of CNY 350,000.
If the recipient lives in Hong Kong/Macao:
The max. transaction amount is CNY 10,000/transaction.
Recipient can receive up to:
10 times/month
CNY 50,000/month
CNY 300,000/year
Please note that these limits are cumulative.
For example, if sender A has sent CNY 1,000 5 times (total CNY 5,000) and sender B has sent CNY 1,000 3 times (total CNY 3,000) to your recipient this month, you can only send money 2 times more to your recipient as their monthly limit is 10 times/month even though the total amount has not reached the monthly limit of CNY 50,000.
